Spring in bloom!

I hope everyone is enjoying the warmer weather. It’s time to start up the yard work and gardening. Check out your local library for tips on the biggest blooms, brightest tomatoes or even unique landscape decorations.springwords

Another year has come and gone. I, for one, cannot believe 2015 is ending. I hope all of you have had a great year. For those that haven’t, I wish for 2016 to treat you better.

Thank you to those who supported us in 2015 and we hope to see you all again in 2016.

If you are looking for something specific that we don’t have here on our shelves, we may be able to borrow it from one for our 42 partnering libraries in Kansas. Call, email, come by, or use Facebook to request your books, movies, CD’s, etc.

Remember, your local library is always there for you.

One of the real joys this holiday season is the opportunity to say thank you and wish you the very best for the new year.

Merry Christmas!

Christmas Wishes from The Hepler City Library!

During this season of joy, we hope you all will be surrounded by family and friends. I recently found a poem that I would like to share.

Christmas by M.E. Miro

Christmas is more than a day in December
It’s all of those things that we love to remember
Its carolers singing familiar refrains
Bright colored stockings and shiny toy trains
Streamers of tinsel and glass satin balls
Laughter that rings through the house and its halls
Christmas is more than a day in December
Its the magic and the love
That we’ll always remember

Stay safe while traveling and have a Merry Christmas from your local Library!
