Yes. Spring is coming!! I, for one, can’t wait. I hope all of you feel the same way.

At Winter’s end, we cannot wait to be outdoors. We are always busy. Mowing, gardening, having cookouts, playing with our animals, taking trips. These are just a few of the things we think of when Winter is ending. No more sitting up in the house, because it is too cold to do anything else. My favorite thing to do in the winter is curl up with a warm blanket and a good book.

I, personally, read less in the summer. I, like all of you, am busy in the Spring and Summer.

But we need to remember that we should still be frequenting our libraries. We still have activities. Our books still need to be read, our computers still need to be used and our library still needs your attention.

There has been talk of a few game nights coming up this summer. We also have a Summer Reading Program in the works.

Please don’t be shy. We take suggestions. Is there a program, activity or event you are thinking of? Think your Library can help? Let us know. We are here to serve the community. We are here to serve you. Let us know what we can do to help you in any way.

I hope to see you all soon!!

Hello!! My name is Samantha Kennedy and I am your librarian here in Hepler. We are currently going under many changes, including this website.

We have been approved to redesign our library. That is a major project. Especially when we are only open a few hours a week. Time is an issue, but we are doing the best we can.

I will be working on this site any chance I get. Right now, I need to get back to my patrons.

Please check back often and hopefully there will be more information on our library and services!

Thank you,

Your Librarian
