2016

Another year has come and gone. I, for one, cannot believe 2015 is ending. I hope all of you have had a great year. For those that haven’t, I wish for 2016 to treat you better.

Thank you to those who supported us in 2015 and we hope to see you all again in 2016.

If you are looking for something specific that we don’t have here on our shelves, we may be able to borrow it from one for our 42 partnering libraries in Kansas. Call, email, come by, or use Facebook to request your books, movies, CD’s, etc.

Remember, your local library is always there for you.

One of the real joys this holiday season is the opportunity to say thank you and wish you the very best for the new year.

Merry Christmas!

Christmas Wishes from The Hepler City Library!

During this season of joy, we hope you all will be surrounded by family and friends. I recently found a poem that I would like to share.

Christmas by M.E. Miro

Christmas is more than a day in December
It’s all of those things that we love to remember
Its carolers singing familiar refrains
Bright colored stockings and shiny toy trains
Streamers of tinsel and glass satin balls
Laughter that rings through the house and its halls
Christmas is more than a day in December
Its the magic and the love
That we’ll always remember

Stay safe while traveling and have a Merry Christmas from your local Library!

Cold Weather!

As the temperatures will be getting cooler, stop by to check out some books or movies to pass the time while staying warm inside!

We have so many titles to choose from. If you are looking for something specific that we don’t have here in Hepler, we can borrow items from over 40 other libraries in Kansas as part of our shared catalog!

May

May is always so busy! There are gardens to plant and grass to mow. Spring is a new beginning. Why not start a new project? Don’t hesitate to talk to your local librarian about helpful resources for beginning a new activity or adventure. Books, instructional videos, online webpages or databases!

Happy Mother’s Day to all the ladies out there who do so much for the ones they love. Tell your mother how special she is to you.

Also, congratulations go out to all the Seniors who are finishing up their last days in school! I hope you all have your applications finished. For your next step towards school or if you already have a job to look forward to, good luck out there!

Cold!

Wow, is it cold out there today. And it looks like it will be tomorrow as well. Come and check out a book or movie to occupy your time in the cold days ahead!

Happy New Year!

We hope everyone had a happy and safe new year! What is your New Year’s Resolution? Get in shape/Eat healthier? Spend more time with loved ones? Maybe it was to frequent your local library more? :)
Whatever it was, we wish you the best of luck towards meeting all your goals!

Happy Holidays!

We would just like to wish you and yours a Merry Christmas from your friends at the Hepler City Library! Have you ever given or recieved books as a Christmas present? If so, what are your favorites?
